Associate Professor Cholatip Pongskul

A/Prof. Cholatip Pongskul is the Associate Dean of Information Technology at Khon Kaen University, Faculty of Medicine. He has been a Nephrologist at Srinagarind Hospital and Lecturer of Khon Kaen University since 1991. As Srinagarind Hospital is the academic teaching hospital affiliated to Khon Kaen University, he therefore has both clinical and teaching experience. In his clinical practice, he collaborates with the Center for Renal Excellence at Srinagarind Hospital, where he has been the director since 2016. He has participated in undergraduate, postgraduate and research training for the nephrology division and has also participated in the education of many of the nephrologists in the north-eastern Thailand since the institute is the primary nephrology training center in the region. He also serves as the project director for the new hospital information system project at the very first hospital in Thailand which fully integrated electronic health record and enterprise resource planning system since 2013. He is also the committee of University and Khon Kaen Municipal Government provincial smart city of which won the Asia/Pacific IDC smart city award in 2018 for the title of Smart Healthcare in Smart City project.
