Associate Professor Dr. Chockalingam Aravind Vaithilingam

Associate Professor Dr. Aravind is heading the electrical and electronics programme at the Taylor’s University of Faculty of Innovation and Technology. He has over 22 years of academic and research experience spearheading various innovation projects in the area of sustainable energy for Future cities. Dr. Aravind is a professional Chartered Engineer registered with the Engineering Council UK.  He holds doctoral degree in electrical engineering with the research work earning the coveted gold at the Malaysian Technology Expo 2013. He is a frequent speaker at various international platforms, guest speaker in the area of electrical sustainability, moderator and master-class tutor for research methods. He is member of IEEE, IET and reviewer/editor for various indexed journals.   Currently he is involved in projects:

  • Spearheading organization-wide Flagship research project on building energy infrastructure
  • Spearheading outcomes based engineering translational education moving out from GPA grading towards programme outcomes based
  • Coaching in application of disruptive creation concepts to boost engineering education shift towards IR4.0

Previously Dr. Aravind CV held a leadership position in organization both in India and in Malaysia.
